After 6 weeks, hair regrowth was noticed in 20 participants. The positive results were significantly higher among men.
A combination of essential oils was studied for its effectiveness as a natural cure for hair loss. It was a mixture of thyme, lavender, rosemary, and cedarwood essential oils. Other carrier oils were also included, such as jojoba and grapeseed. The combination was massaged daily into the scalp. In 7 months, 44% of the 43 participants who used the essential oil blend showed positive results.
Studies have explored the use of hypnosis as a natural cure for hair loss. The study was done on people whose hairs did not respond to other treatments. After hypnosis treatment, hair regrowth at the levels of 75% to 100% was observed in 12 participants after 3-8 of hypnotherapy. Total regrowth also occurred in nine of them.
